To the Basham Family, we're so sorry to hear about Mike. We know how tough this is even though he is out of pain the finality of it makes it very hard. I knew Mike through Bill and Judy, played golf with him and always had a good time. Especially when he lined up to hit the ball and golfers from the other tee boxes would be ducking. Never knew how he could hit it so straight standing so crooked! We all would just laugh. He will be sorely missed, in this day and time there's not enough "Mikes" in this world. Joe & Suzanne Elston

JoLynn and family, My heart goes out to each of you. Mike fought the good fight and never grumbled or complained although we could often see the pain in his eyes. I worked with Mike for a long time and I count him as a very dear friend who not only had compassion but a wonderful sense of humor. If he could not make someone smile, it wasn't because he didn't try. He loved his work and it showed by the way the store was run and the happiness of his employees. You will all remain in my prayers.

Jolynn and family, We all know Mike loved to have fun and make people laugh but he also wanted everyone to be a shining star. He believed in you when you didn"t believe in yourself. His favorite line to me was " It's already taken care of so go sit down." We may not see him but he's here in all of us. ... Bless you all. Sandy Manion.(Louisville,Ky)
