Michael Kruse Obituary

KRUSE, MICHAEL A. "CHARLIE" "DUDE," 73, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East.

He was previously employed at Theinemans Nursery.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John V. and Mary Jane Kruse.

He is survived by his sister, Jane O'Hern (Patrick), brother, David Kruse (Sally), West Palm Beach, FL. ; nephew, Josh Kruse, Denver, CO; nieces, Patsy Martin (John) and Maria Lynch (John), of Bedford, NH; great-nephew, Christopher Martin; and great-nieces, Sydney Lynch and Cassie Martin.

His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. A private burial will be held following the service. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at Highlands.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Brownsboro Hills Plaza for their loving care; his caregiver and friend, Etta Rae Goodman; all the folks at Clifton Kroger and to the kind firefighters at "Engine 4"and the former Frankfort Ave. "Telesquirt 21" The family request expressions of sympathy may be made to Council of Developmental Disabilities, Zoom Group or the charity of donor's choice.
