Mike and I were great friends at Kentucky, and St.X. I will always remember him for the good times. I have nothing but fond memories of Mike. I love his whole family, even though I have never met his daughters, or wife. Darrell Probus, R.N. Springhill, Fl. I will miss him, and I will pray for you all in this time of loss.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Hannah and Taylor's dad.

my father was a trouble maker, a dad, a talker, best friend, rule maker, a rule breaker, a singer, a outlaw (jk), a worker, a joker, teaser, trickster, a uncle, a husband, a owner, a giver, a shoulder, a helpful hand, honest, out spoken, lonley, happy, painfuly truthful, obvious, mistrious, a amazingly deep pool of facts that most people don't know, and so much more. To all the Sermersheim family, words cannot express my feelings adequately about Michael's untimely death. Although I haven't seen him in years, it seems like yesterday.When my brother John told me, I spent the night awake thinking of all the good memories I have of Michael and of the whole family.For most of my childhood, your house was my 2nd house. I have wonderful memories of the practical jokes Johnny and Michael would play on Patsy and me. I remember summers in Paducah, or at the Boat club, riding bikes in the neighborhood and playing in the huge field. All of you are so precious to me. I only have a tiny bit of memories with uncle mike in them, but every single one I have was a good one. He was always so nice and it is really great to be able to say that. The news came completely unexpected to me and I'm still shocked. Taylor and Hannah I am here for you girls and I am really sorry. There is not much else i can say because i know nothing anyone says will ever be good enough. but your whole family loves you and we are here for you none the less.

Dave, sorry to hear about the passing of your brother. Mike was always fun durring the brief time he spent with me and my roommates back in 1986 and we all still talk about those times.
