Monnie Miller Obituary
She was the former Monnie Lamb, a native of Lebanon, KY, and the co-owner of Rookies Bakery. She sang for several USO Tours, was the past president of the New Albany Jaycees and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Miller; five daughters, Leslie Lowe, Dawn Wilson (Frank), Shara Augsburger (Jerry), Julie Killermann (Kevin) and Ronda Stumler (Dewayne); son, Chris Miller (Tara); 16 grandchildren and one on the way; and three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A funeral Mass celebrating Monnie's life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville (1119 E. Market St.) from 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 - 11 a.m. Thursday.

Shara, I'm sorry for your loss in the passing of your mother. She must have been a lovely person. I could see a physical resemblance between the two of you in the photo posted. My condolences to all family and friends.

Monnie was a dear sweet soul and I feel so very blessed to hav had her in my life. I loved her like my second mother and cherish all of the many many memories that I experienced wth the Millers from the time I was 6 years old up until I graduated from high school. Love and prayers to them all.

Monnie (Mrs. Miller) will always be remembered as a loving and selfless woman. A part of my childhood that I will always cherish. A part of my adulthood that brings back fond memories. She will be greatly missed! Keeping the whole family in my prayers.
