Montrell where do I start I haven't seen or talked to you since PRP. Until tonight when I just happened to walk into the living room and seen your picture on the tv. I calipsed on the couch with dis beliefe that such a horrible thing could happen to a wornderful person like you. It still don't seem true to me Everytime I think about you all I think about was your Million dollar smile. No matter what was going on in your life you always kept a smile on your face, My prayers goes out to your family and friends. I know your smiling down on all of us now. That is what is making me keep my head up through out this horrible situation. You are loved and missed by many

I went to Lassiter Middle school with Montrell. He was on almost all of teams. Except in 8th grade he was on the wizards. Montrell was very goofy in middle school and was always very playful. I will pray for the family and for the good friend that is gone but not forgotten.

I would like to take the time out to say thanks to all the people that have had a kind word to say to us in our time of need. I'm Montrell's Aunt and I came to this site this morning while at work just to see if the reporters had put anything else in the newspaper for today and I found this site. You guys has lifted my spirits this morning. To all the young people that may read this I just want to say LIFE IS SOOOO SHORT LIVE EVERYDAY TO THE FULLEST BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT LAYS AHEAD. Montrell was a sweet and kind boy and an even sweeter baby I know that he is looking down on all of his friends and smileing that million dollor smile of his at your kind words. May GOD bless you all and thanks again.

To the family of "my boy" Montrell,
I met him at Value City when he first started and would like to say that he was so special. There was something about Montrell that drew me to him and vice versa. I saw him the day he came in for training. He worked in the same area and we clicked instantly. I loved his sense of humor and his innocence. He was just a happy spirit and he was so excited about working and making money to pay his bills. He introduced me to his girlfriend and was so proud of being on his own. I let him know as often as I could how proud I was of him for wanting to work. I told him that I had sons and he laughed and told me that he knew I gave it to them. He could tell because I stayed on him at work. He was there everyday with a smile. I actually quit on the day that Montrell came to me with some problems he was having at work. I didn't like how he was being treated, but I encouraged him to stay and try to make the best of his job. I said goodbye to him but I had no idea it would be forever. I am so sorry for your loss and want you to know that I feel your pain. I did not know him before Value City, but I could see the potential he had inside. Grandmother Mucker, you did an excellent job with your grandson. He represented you well. Stay strong, you and your family will be in my prayers.

Montrell was one of the original students enrolled in the Sons of Issachar Program and Canaan Community Development Corporation in 2002-2003. Montrell always had a bright smile and he loved to come to my office and sit and chat with me before going to his class. Montrell was a bright student. I had the pleasure of getting to know his grandmother, Joyce Mucker, who was a devoted grandmother and she loved Montrell dearly. I was so shocked when I saw Montrell's picture in the newspaper. I will always remember his smile. (Ms. Crayton (AKA Ms C) as known by the students in the program.

Montrell Mucker, a jokerster,a class clown, but cross that line and he'll warn you. I grew up with him lived around the corner and attended Lassiter middle whith him, Yes he was someone who I dated someone who I wish I could've gotton closer with befor he passed. This shows that life really has no age limit to death, and also to never take it for granted. You will be missed very much! NO lie about that To his brother Lamont G baby boy hang in there I know it's rough I lost my mom this past Sept. To the rest of his family and friend and especially his granny who he talked proudly of I wont say it's gonna be OKAY not at all but hang in ther it waill get better. Think of all the happy times! You'll be missed Baby boy Wait fa us! Take care! We'll unite one day!

Montrell and my daughter, Caitlin, were in Mrs. Duck's class for 2nd and 3rd grades. While I haven't seen Montrell since he attended Flaherty Elementary, I remember his smile and laugh. He was always quick to give a hug. We are so sorry for your loss.
