Yes, I will always remember Nancys warm and encouraging smile which encouraged me to keep on keeping on even in lifes down times. Receiving your message this morning was a Word from God. Recently the aches and pains of an aging spine have made pastoral visits to nursing homes very difficult, and the temptation to give up this ministry is always present. Then Nancy, one of the Greatest Gifts God has given me,...led me during my morning Bible meditation to this passage from the Prophet Haggai as he encouraged his people to continue on, even when it seemed impossible: Courage ... it is God who speaks...continue to work...I am with you....in this place I will give peace. ( Haggai 2: 4-9) SSTHANK YOU, NANCY....I WILL FOLLOW THE GRACE OF YOUR HEAVENLY ADVICE.

I extend my condolences and prayer for the family of Nancy. While I was chaplain at Flaget Hospital in the 90's I was privileged to minister and pray with this faith-filled woman; my own faith GREW in her presence.
