Nancy Walden Obituary
78, passed away on Sunday, January 29., 2017.
Nancy spent her life serving others through a career in healthcare and ministry. She taught Sunday School and Bible Study at Bible Study Fellowship, Highview Baptist Church and Parkland Baptist Church, served on the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief Team, and 2.5 years with the Kentucky Baptist Partnership in Moscow, Russia.
Mrs. Walden is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Walden; daughters, Becki Streif (Greg) and Judi Godwin (Steve Hubbard-fiancé); grandchildren, Zack Baize (Michelle), Carly Harvey (Shane), Adam Galusha and Matt Godwin; three great-grandchildren; and her brother, Coleman Yates, Jr.
Her celebration of life is 2pm Wednesday at Parkland Baptist Church,7206 Shepherdsville Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 2-8pm Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road and after noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the church.
Mrs. Walden's family is sincerely appreciative of the kindness and support shown by the members and staff of Parkland Baptist Church and the tender loving care shown by the staff of Hosparus.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to Hosparus or Parkland Baptist Church Building Fund.

Our family has appreciated Nancy's ministry through Sunday School and Scripture memorization. Lisa, Matt and Michael loved getting those stars in their Bibles. And what a blessing Nancy was for her ministry to mission teams coming through Moscow. May God be with all the family. We cherish our memories of your time at Highview.
