Where do I begin? I still have a note on my kitchen counter from Nate thanking me for the bed and the food and he would be back soon. I am Phil's mom and Nate became one of my "favorite sons" to come to Tennessee and hang out at our house. One of my favorite memories is he and Phil finding a "human knee cap". They were convinced it was. You will have to have Phil tell you the story. He was very special in my son's heart. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time when there are no answers in your life. May all the memories you made with Nate keep him forever close, for as long as we remember, he will reamin alive in each of us.

Nathan, I'll miss you, buddy. You always wore a smile and always lit up a room with that smile. Years ago, I told you that your life was in your music...and you listened closely as if you were hearing exactly what you needed to hear. Music was your heart and soul. You'll never be forgotten. God Bless.

To the family and friends of Nate Robinson:

No words can express our sympothy. Nate was a shining light in an often dark world. Looking back on the few years that I have known Nate, I can't recall a time when he wasn't laughing, smiling, or really anything other then on top of the world. Nate seemed to find a way to not let the world get him down, like he knew he would be alright. I can't think of anyone more original, generous, and, honestly, more loved. We'll will miss Nate and are we are thankful for the chance to have known him.

Nate's passing is tragic for the Louisville music community. But it is more tragic for the people who knew and loved him. Nate was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He knew exactly who he was and you could take it or leave it. He would give you the shirt off his back, or the CD out of his dashboard. I will miss him and his sense of humor.

Nate came into the lives of all of us at Roane County Family Practice just a couple of weeks ago. He came with Phillip to help out on a project at our office. We here at the clinic were so honored to have had the opportunity to meet him. He was a real joy to know and we are all so sad for you his family. I truly believe God sent him into each persons life. I myself am the mother of two sons and I can not imagine the pain his mother must be feeling. I am so sorry for you and I want you to know that I am praying for you and your family. God truly gave you a remarkable son and now he is and will always be in our heart. God bless you all and again I am so sorry.

If it had to do with guitar tones, Makers Mark, or Metallica, nobody knew more about it than Nate. Louisville's best studio engineer, and the bands he worked with, he treated like family. I loved him like so many did. He introduced me to Nathanism (he was a firm believer). I can't wait to see who he's got recorded in Heaven.

Rhonda, Don, Tim and all your extended family and friends: I have watched in amazement as this young man grew up, just down the street from us. We watched him as he hung out with our nephews and at school (IES), he grew to be such a incredible person. His talent was phenominal and his wonderful carefree personality just brought a smile to everyones face and he could win you over in a minute. He cared for people of all ages and was always considerate of everyone. My heart sank when I heard the news of his passing and will be praying for your family.

We were horrified to hear the news of Nathan's tragic death. Nathan was in the process of recording my wife's first album. We have had Nathan in our home for dinner. Everything that is said of him is true. There is no doubt the world has lost a talented, kind, warm and loving human being who loved life and was as full of energy and spirit as Nathan Robinson. It sickens us to hear of his death. He will never be forgotten. Our sympathy to his family and friends. We have lost a great one.

I met Nate at Thunder Over Louiville 2003. We met at 10:30 am, that morning, and hung out until Thunder was over...And until this day, he was (and always will be) one of the nicest people that I've EVER met in my life. He was always smiling and welcomed everyone. I (and many other folks) are crushed by this loss...But here's the thing...God needs souls like Nate's with him. For Nate had the heart of a Saint, and he met the requirements to be accepted into Heaven, so God called him home. My sympathy goes to all of his family and friends...He will always be remembered...FOREVER...

Rock On, NATE DOGG!!!

Nathan grew up across the steet from my grandparents (Frank & Lil Carman) - so I guess we've known each other from the beginning of time. He was a very talented and wonderful person. We had lots of great times in high school - during the good'ol BCHS years. Spent many times hanging out in his garage and multiple other garages listening to him rock out. Now he's rocking up there with God and my mom. Your family is in my prayers.

Love,
