Nelly Romero Obituary
She was the beloved wife of Dr. A. Eddie Romero and together they forged a life from their homeland in Peru to Louisville. She was known for her exceptional beauty and grace, which came second only to her loving kindness.
Nelly is survived by her three daughters, Patricia Sagastume, Michelle Dunsford and Deborah Romero, John Dunsford, former son-in-law, Gustavo Sagastume and five grandchildren, Armando, Emerson, Nelly, Sarah and Eddie. She will be missed eternally by her loved ones near and far.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on January 28, 2012 at 10a.m., located at 3345 Lexington Road. Family burial will be at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation: Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, Friday, January 27, 2012 from 7-9 pm.

Dear Patricia, Michelle and Debby
Nelly (and Eddy) was more than friends to me, were family I am very sad of everything that Nelly went through, and I am sure she is resting in peace next to Eddy, I was fortunately to speak with Nelly during the last days of her life, and remembered our lives together.
I am sure Nelly and Eddy, as your father used to tell me, “are eating Kentucky Fried Chicken every night" that was an inside joke between Eddy and I.
You know I loved them very much and Nelly is going to be missed for ever
