Patricia Tunney Obituary
- - Patricia June Tunney (Pat) was born on June 28th, 1944 and passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Joseph F. Tunney, son's Ryan Tunney, Richard W. Cseak Jr., Ronald S. Cseak and brother's, Gregory G. Abati, and James J. Abati Jr. Born in Honolulu, HI, she was the daughter to James and Mabel Abati.
As a military dependent, Pat's life centered around family, travel, and friends. She never met a stranger. Known for her warmth, humor, and love of pets, she was never lost for words, lack of opinion and held close to her belief in God. We all will miss and love her forever.
Visitation will be held this coming Tuesday, June 26th at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Ave., Louisville, KY, 40204. Funeral service will follow at 12:00p.m. Pat will be laid to rest at Cave Hill Cemetery.
The family request memorials be made to the Kentucky Humane Society.

I was blessed not only to have an amazing mom, but also a dear friend. I was her oldest and in a very special way, my mom and I grew up together. I can't even begin to tell the stories, share the places we went as kids starting when she was 17 and off she and I went to live in Germany to be with dad. Mom, you were always funny, caring, witty and even in hard times that we all face, the one I would look to for strength. I know we will always be connected in spirit and I will always caring you in my heart! Always!

I met Mrs. Tunney (Pat) one time at her home in Louisville. She made quite an impression. Her generous hospitality. Warmth, humor and vitality made for several hours of delightful and endearing enjoyment. I know it is a loss for her family and friends for such a bright shining candle to leave this world, but the stars will shine more brilliantly from above.

A beautiful woman that I've never met, but loved her because of her wonderful family. I didn't have to meet her to know she loved her children & her family. Rick is a dear friend of mine & how wonderful he is can only explain how he was brought up. I've heard so many wonderful stories about her from Rick and knew they had a close relationship. This world may have lost a beautiful woman but now heaven has a gorgeous angel. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Pat. I'm so sorry of your loss & may this time together bring you closer to one another. Sending lots of love from Denver.
