Paul Heaverin Obituary

HEAVERIN, PAUL A., 93, of Louisville, passed away Saturday at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was a native of Leitchfield, KY, a retired US Army veteran of 22 years, with service in World War II and the Korean Conflict, and retired from Pinkerton Security Company. He was a member of St. Clement Catholic church and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Earl Heaverin. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rissie (Miller) Heaverin; a daughter, Sharon Ann Uribe; a daughter-in-law, Bernice Heaverin; a brother, Kenneth Keeton; three sisters, Naomi Jenkins, Dorothy Hindman and Mae McGrew; five grandchildren, Michael, Roderick, Laura, John-Thomas and Paul; and three great-grandchildren, John-Walker, Sara and Roderick Lawrence III. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 5437 Johnsontown Rd., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
