My memories are of a much younger man doing crowd control in the aisles of St. X between classes, chatting away with students who might address him and those who didn't, never met a stranger, a gentle nudge for those who dawdled a bit, you might need a haircut, always slightly animated, a big smile. I can tell he loved it all. We are all better men today for Perry's devotion to this community. God bless!

Dr. Sangalli was a man of integrity who led by example. My sons were blessed by his presence at St. X and by his complete dedication to the school. May he rest in peace and may his family, friends, and the St. X community be granted the gifts of comfort and peace as they grieve the loss of this fine gentleman.

Dear Sangalli Family - Please accept my sincerest condolences. Perry was a great man from a great family, and I have fond and fun memories growing up together. May you all take comfort that Perry is in peace now in Heaven. He will forever remain in your hearts and memories, as he will in so many others that he inspired and mentored over the years.

Deepest condolences to Perry's family. He was often the organist at Holy Trinity when I cantored, and I think it was scheduled that way because we both shared a love of traditional hymns. He was committed to enriching the liturgy with his talents. He will be missed by all of us at HT in the music program.

I was moved by Perry's professionalism, grace, and candor in the many years that I knew him. Perry mentored me as I served as a new president of a local Catholic high school. Additionally, and while taking a risk, he hired me after a return from a serious brain injury. I greatly appreciated his support, especially the way he gracefully and candidly explained that I lost significant teaching skills and let me step down from my teaching position with dignity and respect. Go now to your creator, Perry.
With love, Pat Bowles

Dr. Sangalli did an incredible job for St. X. He will be greatly missed and I believe, never will be completely replaced. May God award him all the glory possible.

Dear Family:
Joann and I extend our heartfelt sorrow and condolences in learning of Perry's departure to eternal life with our God; are pleased to learn that his Mother Barbara was there to welcome him, and that his spirit will always be with us.
HIs spirit, as best as I can visualize it, is best expressed in the creed of my youth as a Jaycee.
We believe:
That Faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That Economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That Government should be of laws rather than of men;
That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;
That service to humanity is the best work of life.
RIP, dear and faithful servant. You provided inspiration to many for a future and happy life.
Sincerely, James P. Marquart, class '53 and sons John James der Schalla Marquart, class '95, Ryan P. Marquart, class of '97, and Dr. Gregory D. Marquart, class '99.
