Phyllis Sue Maxfield

Louisville - Phyllis Sue Maxfield, 78 passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Sue was born on August 28, 1942 to the late Gordon and Thelma Tomlinson. She retired from American Synthetic Rubber Company. Sue and her husband were longtime members of South Park County Club in Fairdale where Sue loved to play bridge and was an avid golfer.

Along with her parents; her son William David Maxfield Jr. and loving husband William David Maxfield Sr. have preceded Sue in death.

Here to carry on her memory are her daughter, Trisha Moran; grandchildren, Gregory Tyler (Jessica) and Taylor Jordan Burgan (John) and great grandson Brock Tyler Sharp.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 19th from 11am-2pm in the funeral home of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Road. A service to honor the life of Sue will begin Tuesday at 2pm with a private burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
