Amy and I were just reminiscing about Rachel and your family on Market Street. I didn't realize it had been 10 years. What a loss of an amazing talent.

Rachel taught me violin for nine years. She was always kind, helpful, and guiding. I cannot recall a time she was ever frustrated with me or another student, and greatly remember her constructive gentle spirit. We both shared a love for cats, and it was with great sadness I received the news of her passing. I will always remember her as the wonderful lady who introduced me to music. Music has since become such a large part of my life, and I owe this to Rachel. I am glad to know her spirit will live on through those affected by her teaching and performing. Sending prayers to her family and friends.

I went to jr and sr high school with rachel. Known her since 7th grade. I dint think I have ever seen her without a smile on her face. I work different events and had the pleasure to be at a couple that she played at. She made a effort to come talk to me in my line of people. But when she played I stopped to watch and listen. So honored that I knew her. She is gone way to soon.

Rachel and her talent were wonderful additions to the atmosphere and curriculum at Montessori School of Louisville. The children and staff loved her greatly. She had just led a string performance of the children at our school on the night of Friday, Dec. 19th and she did a wonderful job. She will be sorely missed by all of us!

What a talented and down to earth person who just always put a smile on your face and always was concerned how you were no matter what she was going through - Play your heart out in heaven and let them hear what we for years have been gushing over and wait to hear again some day - miss you terribly but peace is now yours.
