Wow...I'm so happy that everyone is still commenting on Richard. Now that he's gone, I find myself calling him Ricky. In a way, life isn't as hard anymore as it was when I first heard of it. Now I can just imagine him going through all kinds of memories with friends and family and laughing at us when we're just being...weird. I can see him wanting us to not treat him any different with him in the grave than with him when he was alive. I visited his grave a yesterday and I had to laugh. Honestly, when you think of all the memories...how could you not? I told him that we're all missing him and that we hope he waits up for us in heaven. He's more than likely watching over us now, and hoping we're not too sad still. Through all my rambling, I'm just wishing you all well...again.

I know this is probably one of the hardest things you have ever gone through. Richard was a great friend and classmate, and not just to me, but to everyone. He couldn't stand it when any one got upset and took it as his job to make us laugh when we were. I loved him like a brother, and I know he won't want us crying over him for the rest of our days. I am sorry for your loss; for everyone's loss of a great friend, son, nephew, grandson... but no matter what he was to any of us, one thing is for sure: he'll never be forgotten. May God be with you.

I know this is extremely hard for you...I'm just his friend and I've been tore up over it. I can only imagine how you feel. Honestly, I want to say I'm so sorry it happened. But, at the same time, it won't change anything. Richard was one of my very best friends, and what I want to say to you, as his family, is to have no regrets. Remember him for the kid he was and laugh at the memories. I miss him too, school's hard without him, and it's horrible what happened. I'll be attending the funeral and visitations to show my respects. And since I really want to say it still, I'm extremely sorry for what happened. I'd take it all back if I could. I hope that the wounds in all of our hearts heal...I'm sure he wouldn't want us to mourn over him forever. I wish the best for all of you.

I pray that you will lean upon the comfort of God's Peace surrounding you as His mercy and grace sustain you. I am covering you all in prayers. I hope I can come and visit you. I'm just not sure yet that I can handle that emotionally. I know you understand. Love you all. Blessing and blessings.
