To Dave, Suzy, Sharon and Family
I rarely check the metro section and the obituary of the C-J but did Monday morning. Noticed the passing. A great human being. Coached me and my sister Jenny at DePres Park. Remembered his love for Disney (and I was at the Disney Store as an employee for about 3 years) and his humor and watching Excalibur on LASERDISC at the house. I lost my father when I was 9 when he was 37. I know the pain. You all are in my prayers. Holler if you need to chat.

I was so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was my first supervisor when I started in March '81 at the old Jackson office. He helped me tremendously on the computer & always had a smile on his face & loved to joke around. How totally cool was his Mickey Mouse tie!!!

thank you, Rick

So sorry to hear of Rick's passing. We worked together for many years in Adult Education. Rick was Adult Ed's "Digital Photography Guru". We'll all miss him greatly.

The entire extended Hash family send their deepest sympathy. He became our daughter's other father when she met and married David. All of our encounters were warm and comfortable, we always came away from Rick and Suzy knowing that our daughter was loved and cherished by her inlaws. To a parent that is priceless. Rick was a wonderful host and was quick to share a wide range of knowledge unselfishly to all who asked. I found him totally delightful to be around...it is our loss that he left us too quickly. To Suzy, David and Sharon we wish you comfort in your grief. You are in our prayers as you transition through this loss.
All our love
Verna and Paul
