Robert Bowles Obituary
Bob was born on September 1, 1963 in Louisville, to Robert L. Bowles Sr. and Mary Kehl Bowles. He was a member of Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville and worked for Roll Forming Corporation as a quality engineer.
Along with his father, Bob Sr.; maternal grandparents, Ignatius and Margaret Kehl; and paternal grandparents, Roy and Maude Bowles have preceded him in death.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jennifer Van Horn Bowles; mother, Mary Bowles "Sissy"; children, Nicholas, Alex, Emily, and Hailey Bowles; brother, Joe P. Bowles (Rebecca); sister, Kimberly Bowles; nieces and nephews, Gene and Elliott Beck, Bee Springs, KY, and Brittany Beck, New York, NY; as well as many special aunts and uncles, many loved cousins; and so many other family and friends who loved him very much.
A Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Barnabas Parish, 3042 Hikes Lane, with internment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mass of the Air.

Mary, Joey,and Kim there are so many memories to share about Bobby that i am sure to forget some. I just remember all the good times we had ST.Polycarp and Bishop David. He was great friend to have and you guys were a great family to be around. I remember the basketball goal in your back yard,the trips to Jefferson Mall with David and Donnie, Friday Night football games, Poplar Level Pizza with Charlie just growing up the way we did. A piece of my childhood and teenage years are gone but the memories will remain. My heart and prayers go out to your entire family. Stay strong in faith and God. Bobby will be missed.
