I worked with Jack at Owensboro, KY during my first year on the railroad. Later, I trained with him to become an engineer. I was also a member of BLET 365 when Jack was our Sec-Tres. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and wish my deepest condolences to your family. May God bless.

I am a retired railroader, and I am so sorry that Jack is gone. He was a one-of-a-kind man. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many.
I'm very curious. Is Jack's sister, Wanda Brunton, the same person who was married to Charles Brunton many years ago? If that's true, it is indeed a small world, as she was a really nice person to my family, particularly my wife Kathy and my daughter, Gretchen. If Wanda is that Wanda, I would love to hear from her. She can get my email address through this address book, or call me @ (256)420-6606.

I just wanted let you know how sorry I was to hear about Jack. I have so many great memories of him and our talks about motorcycles and whatever else came up. I remember him riding the old Moto Guzzi with the side car and one day here he comes down the road with the sidecar up in the air. I was laughing and in awe of him all at the same time. He would help me with my old Harley and always gave me good advice. He always had something good to say to me. He taught me how to drink coffee, I never liked untill I met Jack. I haven't seen Jack in a few years but I always considered him a good friend as I do all of you. He will be missed.
