Ruby Bridges Obituary
She was born in Frankfort, KY to O'Banion and Ruby Pearl (Crutcher) Polsgrove. Ruby was a retired clerk for the Revenue Cabinet of Kentucky after many years of service. She was a Christian by faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her children, Donna Fessenden, Daniel Bridges (Janet) and Michael Clifford; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Marconi.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with cremation to follow. Visitation : 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday.

I would like to thank the person who came to St. Anthony Gardens Apartments to tell Lyle and Deborah about Ruby's passing. I really wish I had known sooner. Ruby was a dear friend of my dads(Alden) . Our whole family thought the world of her. She was such a good person. I, especially, loved seeing her. I always enjoyed her coming to the house with Daddy. She was such a sweet lady. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, We were all very blessed to have this wonderful lady in our lives.

My sweet Ruby...our lost is heaven's gain. You always brightened my day when I saw you. That beautiful smile, loving touch and hugs will stay with me forever. I know your in a better place and no longer suffering which brings me comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you Donna and the rest of Ruby's family. What a wonderful lady and I'm so glad that I got to be part of her life. I will miss her deeply.

I remember Ruby so much as we all were growing up together. Danny she love you and all her children so much. It is hard to lose your parents. They are so much of your soul, but remember her smile, her laughter and her gentle touch she gave to your kids. Danny God Bless you and your family.
