Ruth Hall Obituary

Ruth Ann Hall

Louisville - Ruth Ann Hall, 56 of Louisville, passed away March 13, 2021. She was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Brown. Ruth Ann was a devoted wife and mother, and spent her career as a caregiver, and she was also a devout member of the Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Kenny Brown, Steve Brown, and Ronnie Brown.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband: Vardie Hall; her children: Kelly Schroeder (Michael), Sam Hall, Rachel Hall, Sarah "Charlie" Hall; her granddaughter: Amelia Schroeder; her siblings: David Brown (Amanda) and Therese Beakes; and her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 18th at 10 AM at Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynnbrook Dr., Louisville, KY 40220. Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 17th at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville, Louisville, KY 40243.

In lieu of flowers, please have masses said for the repose of her soul.

I was just informed by a former classmate of Ruth Ann's passing. I am saddened by the news as Ruth Ann was a wonderful person and I had hoped she would be at our next reunion of the 1978 class of OLOL. I know she will be truly missed by her family, friends and the many lives she touched.
