Stephen Cissell Obituary
Mr. Cissell was a construction worker for the Kentucky State Highway Department.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Cissell; two sons, Hunter S. Cissell and Daniel J. Avis; two daughters, Jennifer L. Avis and Britney M. Gettings; six grandchildren, Jimmy, Amya, Aubrey, Kinsey, Hailey and Brooklyn; his parents, Patsy Moreland and Bill A. Cissell; grandparents, Nettie Netherly and Bill E. Cissell; and two sisters, Melanie Combs and Breanna Cissell.
His funeral service will be on Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway with cremation following. Visiting will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 p.m. -8 p.m.
Expressions may take the form of contributions to the family.

We loved little Stevie as an adorable , funny, curious little boy. His eyes always lit up with excitement over picking blackberries, going to movies, hanging out with his sister and young baby niece. He loved jumping into life and having fun. We had the privilage of knowing him as a bright, active and wonderful little boy. We lost touch in his later years, but never forgot what a fun, smart little boy he was and rememberances of him are good, because we knew him, but so sad because we will miss him. Our hearts and prayers go out to all his family and friends. Special Prayers for Patsy and Melanie, his mother and sister. They had a very special bond with their son and little brother.
