Thelma Saper Obituary
She and her family lived in Louisville 1966-1990 before returning to Michigan.
She married Martin L. Saper, 97, in 1942.
Thelma was active in the Jewish community in Louisville and was a devoted mother to her five sons, Jerold (d. 1975), Brian of Belmont, MA, Roy of East Lansing, MI, wife, Nell Kuhnmuench and sons, Adam and Jay, Craig (d. 1974) and Paul of Austin, TX, wife Jeri and sons, Jacob and Craig.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 1924 Coolidge Rd, East Lansing, MI. Burial will follow the service at Temple Beth Israel cemetery in Jackson, MI.
Instead of flowers, the family would suggest giving time to benefit an older friend or relative and remembering the value of the elderly and the gifts that their years have given to many.
