Dear Vicki - I was so terribly sad to hear of Tom's passing, he really was a super guy. I loved the way he was with all the boys in baseball...he will really be missed this spring! I'm sorry also I was not able to make it to the funeral home, I had good intentions and then my mom became very ill and was in the hospital for 13 days and just passed away as well...so please forgive my family for having not made it there. I pray that God has given you the strength you need to get through this sad time in your life. Of course, we all know heaven is and even happier place now with Tom there. Best wishes, Debbie Leppien and Family.

Margot and I will miss Tom at the golf course. He always had a smile on his face, twinkle in his eye and a good word for every shot. He never seemed to be discouraged and looked forward to tomorrow. Hit'm long and straight Tom. Our condolences to you Vickie and the whole Irving family.

I worked with Tom for about two years at Flint Metal Center. We chatted about his love of nature and the area of Midland he loved and future retirement. I have a cottage on Wixom Lake and he would tell me things that were around town to find and look up. When we were on third shift we would tease each other in the parking lot about racing home, he to Midland, and me to Wixom Lake. He was a funny guy to work with, even though Al gave us hell. It was very sad to hear this news, so unfair not to enjoy his retirement longer than this. My deepest sympathy to Wife and son, who he always spoke of with Great Love and respect. You could tell his life revolved around them.
