Vicki Whitaker Obituary

NEW ALBANY - Whitaker, Vicki Lynn, 58, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital.

She attended Lone Valley Baptist Church.

Surviving are parents, Arnold and Norma Whitaker of New Albany, IN; brothers, Greg (Suzanne) Whitaker of Sellersburg, IN, Keith (Amy) Whitaker of Georgetown, IN; sister, Lisa (Gary) Henderson of Floyds Knobs, IN; nieces, Brittany Ketterman, Hannah Henderson, Kristen Whitaker and Lilly Whitaker; nephew, Kaden Henderson.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m.Thursday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and anytime after 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association. Online condolences can be made at www.gar rfuneralservices.com.

My thoughts and prayers to all the Whitaker family, I am so sorry for your loss. It was my honor to care for Vicki and her love my blessing. I thank you for the trust you had in me. I will always be so grateful that Vicki was a part of my life. She made me a better person just knowing her. I love her now and always. God bless you.
