William Charles "Bill" Brown Sr.

BROWN, WILLIAM CHARLES "BILL," SR., 61, of Louisville, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Banner Transfer and Phillip Morris, where he had 29 years of service, was a member of Union Local 89, and a former member of St. Columba Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mildred (Wiesenberger) Brown Sr.; and a son, William Charles "Billy" Brown Jr. Bill is survived by a son, Scott David Brown (Angie); a daughter, Megan Paige Brown; and grandchildren, Mykail D. Conard, Derrick A. McCoy, Shane M. McCoy and Trey A. McCoy; sisters, Sharon Meffert (Ron), Mildred "Toots" Moorehead, and Patricia Schmitt (Donnie); brothers, Leonard Jr. and James Brown (Tina); stepchildren; and a stepgrandchild. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Dr., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Monday at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd.
