William Landberg Obituary
85, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a long-time member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a construction engineer and an auctioneer. He was a 50 year member of the Shawnee Lodge #830. Bill worked for the Board of Elections for over 20 years.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Landberg; son, Harry Landberg (Cyndy) and Mark Smith; grandchildren, Elliott Smith and Marcy Smith; and also a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Friday and after 9:30am Saturday at the funeral home. To leave a special message for the family, visit www.Newcomerkentuckiana.com.

Uncle sunny was a Charismatic man who could light up a room. He will be missed by many. I will always remember him telling me stories of different events in his life. I never heard the same one twice! Give Grandma and Granny a hug and kiss for me, I know they have missed you! RIP Sweet Sunny.

I was Bill's waitress at the Golden Coral for many years where he loved to eat on Sunday after attending South East Christian Church. We shared a lot of laughs and he shared many stories with me. He even attended my daughters graduation party at my house which meant a great deal to me.Bill will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him but will never be forgotten. I loved him dearly.
