William Linker Obituary
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from Louisville Lumber and Millwork after 46 years of service.
He was a member of AmVets and Our Lady of the Pillar Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta M. Linker; parents, Robert Sr. and Antoinette Linker; brothers, Albert and Robert Jr.; sisters, Charlotte, Mary Helen and Mary Frances; stepson, Frank E. List Jr. and grandchild, John R. Linker Jr.
He is survived by sons, William J. Jr. (Donna), John (Gail) and Joseph Linker (Maureen); daughter, Betty Snyder (Wayne); daughter-in-law, Sherry List; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Pillar Chapel, 4049 S. 5th St. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Ave. at Barret Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go the Alzheimer's/Dementia Association.

Bill - I was so sorry to hear that your father had died. There is just an indescribable feeling of being totally "on your own" when your parents are gone. You were so fortunate that you got to have him for such a long period of your life. Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Wow I have so many memories of your dad. I remember how much fun Dad and him had with the Amvets. I wish you peace and comfort knowing he is with your mother now. I know he will be missed greatly. I know Dad and him are in heaven hanging out. Bowling and working a Big Bingo in heaven. Love Cindy
