William Nigg Obituary

Nigg, William R. "Bill",

William R. "Bill" Nigg age 72 was set free on September 17, 2014.

He was a Lieutenant Commander in The United States Army and he graduated from Georgia Tech on a basketball scholarship. Bill was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his loving wife, Luanne, of 19 years; mother, Dorothy; daughter, Heather (Chris) Partridge; stepson, Josh Burns; two grandchildren, Megan and Ethan; two sisters, Judy (Steve) and Gina (Terry); brother, Ken (Cheryl); and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter; and brother, Jim.

Visitation will be on Monday September 22, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. with service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Disabled Veterans Association or ALS Association.
