Albino Silva Obituary
LOWELL
Albino "Al" Silva, 52, a Lowell resident, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Lowell on February 14, 1969, he was a son of the late Joao and Evangelina (Quadros) Silva.
He attended the Lowell Schools and was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Voke. Al was a talented finish carpenter, a trade he was employed in for several years. Al was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church and held membership in the Y.M.C.A. There, he worked out and trained in weight lifting, winning several competitions.
Al lived for his children, a very proud father. He never hesitated to show unconditional love. His will and dedication to put a smile on anyone's face will be missed. He will be remembered as a very compassionate and generous person with a heart of gold.
Surviving Al are his two children, Nicholas J. Silva and Allison E. Silva, both of Lowell; his seven siblings, Manuel Silva and his wife Filomena of Lowell, Agostinho Silva and his wife Lily of Dracut, Daniel Silva and his wife Ida of Dracut, Zulmira Betencor and her husband Oriolando of San Jose, CA, Durvalina Silva of Lowell, Dulcelina Silva and her husband Mike of Lowell, Ludovina Platt and her husband Bob of Lowell; his God Mother, Luisa DeMelo of Lowell, his uncle Joao Quadros and his wife Maria of Lowell; also many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Tricia Lamarre of Lowell. Al was the brother of the late Herondinha Lobao, Ludovina Silva and Maria Cunha.
SILVA—In Lowell, unexpectedly on June 12, 2021, Albino J. "Al" Silva, 52 a Lowell resident. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL on MONDAY MORNING from 9 AM until 12 Noon. Al's FUNERAL MASS will follow at 12:30 PM at ST. ANTHONY CHURCH, 893 Central St. (Back Central) Lowell. Burial will take place in the Edson Cemetery.
