Anthony Natsios Obituary

Anthony C. Natsios lifelong resident of Dracut; 88 DRACUT Anthony C. "Tony" Natsios, 88, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Monday June 16th at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Contos) Natsios, with whom he would have celebrated his 58th wedding anniversary on September 9th. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was born in Lowell on January 19, 1920, and was the son of the late Christos and Stavroula (Maniatakos) Natsios. He was a member of the first graduating class of Dracut High School in 1937. He also received an Associate's Degree from the former Lowell Technological Institute. An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Natsios served in the United States Army during World War II, during which time he was stationed in High Wycombe, England for four years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for 26 years as a government inspector by the Defense Contract Administration Services Region (DCASR) in Boston. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, the Acacia Club and the Square and Compass Club, both in Dracut. He was also a 3rd degree Mason, Pentucket Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Lowell. In his free time, Tony enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox. In addition to his wife, Mr. Natsios is survived by six children, Olga N. Davis and her husband Randy of Dracut, Sandra Graham and her husband Andrew of Dracut, Chris A. Natsios and his fiancee Debra Michaels, both of Hudson, NH, Joanne Kazanjian and her husband John of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Anthony G. Natsios of Malden, and John A. Natsios, also of Malden; seven grandchildren Nicholas and Gregory Davis, Jason Graham and his wife Kathleen, Kristina Graham and her fiancé Tim Sheahan, Andrew Graham, John Kazanjian, and Kristen Kazanjian; a great granddaughter Julia M. Graham; a sister Mary Demetri of Dracut; a brother James Natsios and his wife Bessie of Dracut, two sisters-in-law Cynthia Natsios of Tyngsboro and Helen Natsios of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the grandfather of the late Kaitlin A. Kazanjian, and the brother of the late Olga, Louis, and Peter Natsios. NATSIOS Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 3 until 8 PM. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 8:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 10 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, in Lowell. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery II in Lowell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., Lowell, MA 01854, or to the Kaitlin A.
