DRACUT -- Barbara H. Cyr, 77, died peacefully, Monday, December 22nd, at the Wingate at Belvidere in Lowell, with her family by her side. She was the loving widow of the late Robert Cyr.

Barbara was born in Lawrence on March 10, 1937, daughter of the late Ida (Fredrickson) and Raymond Lees. She was educated in Lawrence and a graduate of Lawrence High School.

For 13 years, Barbara worked in the Cafeteria for Raytheon in Bedford, MA.

Barbara enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and shopping but most importantly spending time her her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all of them.

Barbara is surived by her 6 children, Sharon Beaudoin and her husband Robert of Dracut, Linda Cyr and her companion Bill Tarmey of Tyngsboro, Gary Cyr and his wife Joanne of Dracut, Joanne Carter and her husband Kevin of Dracut, David Cyr of Florida and Keith Cyr of Lowell; her siblings, Charlotte Albert and her husband Roger of Salem, NH, Robert Lees of Andover, Jack Lees and his wife Nancy of Florida; close friends, Marlene and Ray Cebula of Dracut; 13 cherished grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister-in-law and friend, Rita Lees.

The family would like to thank all of the Nurses and staff at the Wingate at Belvidere for all of the care and compassion they showed to Barbara during her time there.

CYR -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4-7 p.m. on FRIDAY, December 26th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's name to the COPD Foundation, 20 F Street NW, Suite 200A, Washington, DC 20001. Hey Joanne, I an so sorry for your loss, I know how close you were to your Mom, glad you had the time you did while she lived with you. Sorry I missed the services. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours .

I love and miss you, you were my best friend. We had lots of laughs and sad times but we were happy with what we had and now your in heaven with dad watching over us. your in my heart and dreams and thoughts all the time I'll see you again and we'll pick up where we left off love you to the moon and back.
