Barbara A. (Kriete) (Roscoe) Deschenes, 83, of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away after a long hospital stay on Thursday November 23, 2023, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH.

She was the loving wife of the late Francis P. "Mike" Deschenes, who predeceased her on December 26, 2019. They had enjoyed over 30 years of marriage and lived in Pelham NH.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, February 29, 1940 (leap year baby) to the daughter of the late Richard C. and the late Elizabeth H. (Price) Kriete, she attended Center Moriches High School in New York in the class of 1958. She later received her Associate degree in Finance at Bentley College.

After her retirement from Delta Education in Nashua NH, Barbara worked as a realtor for the National Association of Realtors for over 30 years.

Amongst her many interests, including playing cards, cribbage and dominos, Barbara enjoyed playing bingo with her "Bingo Buddies", road trips to Florida, and spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara was also known for having the best manicures and hairdo. Grammy always gave the best advice and was seen front row at all her family's most special events. She loved loving all of us, and for that we are forever grateful. She always remembered Birthdays and hosted infamous Christmas Eve parties with epic firework displays to celebrate her husbands birthdays.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda D. Burgess and her companion Thayer Mallette of Nashua, NH; two sons Carl R. Roscoe and his companion Laurie Gallo of Pelham, NH, Michael J. Roscoe, Sr. and his wife Julie of Pelham, NH; a daughter-in-law Ann Marie Roscoe of Tewksbury; thirteen grandchildren; Ashley Roscoe, Brittany Roscoe, Michael Roscoe Jr, Jackie Roscoe, Nicole Duran, Adam Roscoe, Caitlyn Burgess, and Emily Roscoe; two great-granddaughters Jada Shattuck and Aleyna Duran; two brothers Robert E. Kriete of NY, and Bruce M. Kriete and his wife Alice of FL; and many nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law Yoland "Ann" Deschenes and Joanne Deschenes; she is also survived by four step-children and their families Cheryl and Mark Wyatt of SC, Michael and Susan Deschenes of NJ, Monica and Jerry Curdo of NH, Mark Deschenes and his companion Renee Ouellette of NH.

Barbara was also the mother of the late Alan T. Roscoe and sister of the late Patricia Larkin.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM on Thursday November 30, 2023, from 3 to 7 P.M.. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME on Friday morning December 1, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery.
