Dear Family of Barbara. I was so saddened to hear about Barbara's passing. I met Barbara in the 80s when we worked in the same organization at Hanscom and became friends. At least once a day, I would visit her office, joined by Kathy, Diane, Jack, Ann Marie and Angie and we would have so many laughs. She was a dear friend who drove me to work, went to lunch and dinner, visited her after she retired and had dinner at her home and lots of good conversation and many laughs. She loved driving her car and liked driving to Hanscom, which always amazed me. She was a sweet, wonderful, dear lady. You all have my deepest sympathy. I will miss seeing my dear friend and listening to her stories and her beautiful laugh.
She had a wonderful attitude about life and adored her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. She is/was a dear, special friend. I will miss her.

So sorry to hear about Barbara's passing. She was a mentor to all of us contracting folks coming up the pike. She also worked as a secretary, if i am not mistaken, with my late father-in-law, James Burrows at MITRE. I always had great respect for Barbara, and enjoyed camaraderie with her. She will be missed.
Sincerely, Cindy Burrows,
former employee, now retired, US Air Force, Hanscom AFB MA

To Barb's Family I offer my personal condolences. Barb worked in our group at Hanscom and always did a superb job. She was a delight to have in the office. I had high hopes that we could arrange a job transfer out to Pittsburg as I know she did as well. I was saddened to read this notice today and want you to know how well we all thought of her. Respectfully, Dick Axtell

John, Lisa, Michael, Paul, Ed, Tom and Dan,
As you all well know, your mother was a remarkable person in so many ways. As a working mom myself for so many years, I often marveled at how she was able to raise all of you while advancing to such an impressive level of achievement in her career. That was the mark of a truly special and strong person. She was always so compassionate and understanding and made sure she filled the room with laughter. I know you will all miss her terribly as will I. She meant a great deal to me as a mother-in-law and a friend. It is wonderful that you were all there by her side and that she passed knowing how much she was loved. God be with all of you and my deepest sympathy on your tremendous loss.
All my love.
