Barbara Mersicano Obituary

Barbara A. Mersicano É40-year Billerica resident; 65 BILLERICA - Barbara A. Mersicano, 65, a 40-year Billerica resident, died Monday, June 7, at her home after a long illness. She was the wife of Frank "Buddy" Mersicano, with whom she would have celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in August. She was born in Lynn on Sept. 20, 1938, daughter of Sedella (Smith) Carrier of Sharon and the late Edward Carrier. She lived in Boston's Brighton before to moving to Billerica. Besides her husband and mother, Mrs. Mersicano is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Holly and John Ballam of Billerica, Margie and Daniel Doyle of Dunstable, and Stacy and Paul Virgin of Burlington; a brother, Robert Carrier, in Mississippi; four sisters, Joan West of Stoughton, Marjorie Carrier of Sharon, Muriel Minkle of Chelmsford, Janet Flaxington of Medfield; and seven grandchildren, Emily, Olivia and Nicholas Virgin, Sara and Jack Doyle, and Peyton and Greer Ballam.

Barbara is dearly loved and will be remembered in my heart. I will cherish the fond memories I have of her. The best memory I have is staying with you guys one summer for a vacation, and Barbara sending us kids to Bible School camp. I loved that summer! and I loved Bible School camp!
