Burt A. Hunt
formerly of Pepperell, MA, Army Vet; 61

CULVER CITY, California -- Burt Alan Hunt, 61, died suddenly April 27th in Culver City, CA.

Born in Lynn, MA, November 12, 1949 to Earl Sheldon Hunt of Georgetown, MA and the late Ann Marjorie Harris.

Besides his father, he is survived by three children, John Robert Hunt of Nashua, NH, Emerson Gage Hunt of San Francisco, CA, and Sarah Elizabeth Hunt of Pepperell, MA; and two sisters, April Sweeney of Columbus, MS, and Laurie Reed of Haverhill, MA.

Burt graduated with the class of 1967 from Haverhill Trade School in Drafting. During the Vietnam Era, Burt served in the Army designing Hercules Missile Air Defense Systems. His work involved many technologies in communications, defense, and circuitry of all kinds.

Burt lived in Pepperell for 16 years with his family. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking and the outdoors. He will be missed by all and well known for his work and hobbies of board and computer games in GA and CA.

A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 616 Great Rd., Littleton, MA on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 7:30 P.M.
