Cecilia Koronis Obituary
AYER: Cecilia A. Koronis, 69, of Ayer, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer. Cecilia was born in Ayer, May 2, 1954, the daughter of Andreas Koronis and Gabriella (Roux) Atwood and grew up in Ayer and Groton. Cecilia had worked at Brava Accounting Services in West Concord. Prior to that she had worked at Bowmar/Ali Incorporated in Acton. Cecilia was passionate about animals. She enjoyed pet sitting and assisted many pet owners as a dog walker. She leaves her lifetime partner, Mark Stevenson of Ayer and her cousins, Paul Wheatley and his wife, Jeanine, Peter Koronis and his wife Lillian, all of Ayer, Steven Koronis of Charlton and Kathy Ganias and her husband, Kosta of Worcester.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ayer. Memorial contribution may be made to Loaves & Fishes, 234 Barnum Road, Devens, MA 01434 or MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer is assisting the family with arrangements.
