DUNSTABLE, MA

Constance "Connie" (Brow) Alterisio was taken after a long battle with Alzheimer's, July 11, at her residence. Born the daughter of Christine and Gordon Brow on February 20, 1949, she attended Dunstable elementary schools and graduated from Chelmsford High in 1967. Employed by Millipore Corp. in Bedford, MA. Upon her marriage she returned to Dunstable. She maintained her lifelong membership at Trinity Lutheran Church in Chelmsford. A stay-at-home mom, she raised 3 daughters in the community she loved and was proud to be recognized as a townie. Following the example of aunts and uncles who served as town officials, she was active in a variety of ways and went on to be elected to the School Committee, serving 14 years as a member of the Regional School District. Deciding to return to school, earning a degree in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing from Middlesex Community College. A career lasting 18 years included contributions to Genetics Engineering, Wyeth, Pfizer, and Bristol Myers.

She is remembered by her husband of 51 years Walter F Alterisio, Daughters Lisa C. Alterisio, Sara L. and husband John Benedum, Lara J. and husband Paul French. Grandchildren Bryce and Natalie Winch, David and Vanessa French. Sisters Janyce and husband David Lundstedt of Tucson, AZ, Marsha and husband Robert Dorris of North Chelmsford, MA. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Bestie Jean Brzezinski.

In accordance with her wishes she would prefer not to be mourned on her passing. The family will announce a memorial service at a date to be determined and invite all to share the memory of the many good times together.

Connie, your photo is lovely and exactly as I remember you. I loved partnering with you as team teachers of the three-year-old children at TLC Sunday School. You had such a gentle guiding nature with the kiddoes.
Wally and family, in this time of sorrow, too deep for words, I am keeping all good thoughts for you and hoping each day brings you a greater measure of peace to comfort your heart.
With sympathy,
Bette
