Constance Costa Obituary

Constance R. Costa lived in Dracut for many years; 88 AMHERST, NH Constance R. (Coelho) Costa, 88, a resident of Amherst, NH, and former longtime Dracut resident, died Wednesday, November 19th at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of the late John A. Costa who died in 1971. She was born in Lowell, on June 3, 1920, and she was a daughter of the late Gregory and Natalie (Rodrigues) Coelho. She received her education in Dracut schools. Mrs. Costa enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach, and watching plants and love ones grow. She inspired us all to enjoy every moment in life by example. She is survived by a son, John J. Costa of FL; three daughters, Linda Costa of Pelham NH, Mariann Dusablon and her husband, Alfred of FL, Debra Costa-Nino and her husband, Anthony Nino Jr. of Amherst, NH; eight grandchildren, Patricia Bettencourt, Pauline Fortier, Veronica Ketchum, Joanne Dusablon, Tammy Dusablon, Constance Nino, Anthony Nino III, and Catherine Nino; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Gloria R. Barby and Joyce Costa; and the sister of the late Louis Coelho and Mary Cox. COSTA Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, on Sunday from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 9 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Kathryn Church in Hudson, NH. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. Those who wish may make donations in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Mrs Costa was a wonderful woman. I had the great privilege of taking care of her at the hospital when she was there. We talked alot about her grandchildren and how she was feeling. I was sad to go into work on Nov. 20th to find that she had passed away. my heart goes out to her family and friends
