Elias Litopoulos Obituary
Elias Litopoulos, age 53, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jenny (Tsata) Litopoulos.
He was born in Lowell on March 18, 1969 and was the son of the late Tilemahos and Elpiniki (Papakostas) Litopoulos.
Elias was raised in both Lowell and Thessaloniki, Greece, having been educated in Lowell until the fourth grade. He then furthered his education in Greece until returning to the US to earn his business degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. He had a special place in his heart for Aidonia, Greece, where he spent many summers during his youth. For the last thirty years, Elias was the owner of Milan Family Restaurant and Pizzeria in Lowell. In his spare time, Elias cherished time spent with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Elias is survived by his children, Kleanthi and Tilemahos Litopoulos, his mother-in-law Anastasia (Diamandopoulou) Tsata of Sydney, Australia, his brothers-in-law Ioannis and Konstantinos Tsatas both of Sydney, his beloved aunt and uncle, Sophia and Vasilios Dilmas of Aidonia, Greece, and his cousins, Anastasia Dilma of Thessaloniki, Greece and Christos Dilmas of Chicago. He is also survived by many extended family here and in Greece.
Sadly, in addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his father-in-law Georgios Tsatas.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 9 am – 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St., LOWELL. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday following the visiting hours at 11 o'clock. Interment in Westlawn II Cemetery, LOWELL.
Memorial donations in Elias' name may be made to the Hellenic American Academy, 41 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854.
