Gail Cunningham Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister;

Pelham, NH

It is with great sorrow that the family of Gail (Mello) Cunningham, 80, of Pelham, announce her sudden and unexpected passing with her family by her side on Monday March 20, 2023 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.

Gail was born in Lowell to the late Wilma (Mouradian) Mello, on September 21 1942. She was a graduate of Lowell High School in 1960, where she was an honored member of the Girl Officers. After graduating, Gail started her lifelong career in bookkeeping. She was the proud owner of 'It Figures Bookkeeping Services' which she operated up to the time of her passing. She loved taking care of her clients, which most of whom became lifelong friends.

Though her business was her passion, her family was her everything. Our holidays, parties and games brought her so much joy. She was truly the life of every party.

Gail's exuberant personality, lust for life and sympathetic nature will be missed by all that knew her.

Gail is survived and deeply missed by her children Kendrick Cunningham & his wife Blanche of Pelham, Kerry Gauthier & her partner Jason Rivers of Dracut, Sean Cunningham & his wife Matina of Pelham, Nichole Gerace & her husband Geoffrey of Hudson, NH, her partner James DeBenedictis of Lowell, her brother Charles Mello & his wife Gayle of Coventry, RI, her niece Stephanie Mello of Los Angeles, CA, her dear friends May Harrington and Peter & Bonnie Gerace, and many more.

Her memories and legacy will forever live on through her beloved grandchildren; Jared Gauthier, Janae Gauthier & her fiancé Cory Clarke, Justin Gauthier, Jakob Rivers, Jacob Cunningham & his longtime girlfriend Allison Mahoney, Olivia Cunningham & her fiancé Devin Silvar, Ethan Cunningham, Kendra Gerace, Haley Gerace, Darrah Gerace, Richard Tourville & Jeffrey Tourville.

She was predeceased by her mother Wilma Mello, Son in Law David Gauthier and former husband Daniel Cunningham.

In lieu of traditional services, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. E-condolences at http://www.pelhamfuneralhome.com. For those wishing to make a contribution, in her name, they may do so to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME - PELHAM, NH - (603) 635-3333.
