Mr. Wilkins worked at the Abbott Worsted Wool Mills in Lowell for 25 years, and he later worked for Raytheon in Lowell for 25 years before retiring.
He was an avid gardener, fisherman, hunter and bowler. He was also a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham and a member of the Pelham Seniors.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Maryann Brown of Connecticut, Sandra Anderson of Manchester, N.H., and Barbara and Michael Tripp of Goffstown, N.H.; two daughters-in-law, Joan Wilkins of Hudson, N.H., and Mary Ann Wilkins of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He also was the father of the late Hank and Fred Wilkins.
