Herbert R. Sargent formerly of Chelmsford and Lowell; 89 LEOMINSTER Herbert R. Sargent, 89 years old, formerly of Chelmsford and Lowell, died Wednesday, November 14, 2007, in the Overlook Masonic Health Center in Charlton. He is survived by his daughter Nancy P. Hicks and her husband, Donald G. of Leominster; his son, Paul W. Sargent and his wife, Helen L. of Southbury, CT; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor J. (Graham) Sargent in 1978. He was also predeceased by his five sisters, Gertrude Burndrett, Edith Huskey, Dorothy McGuinnis, Grace Fulton, and Jessie Santamour. SARGENT A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 10 a.m. in the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 26 West St., Leominster. Burial will be in on Saturday, November 17 at 2 p.m. in Edison Cemetery in Lowell. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Overlook Masonic Health Center, 88 Masonic Home Rd., Charlton, MA 01507 or the First United Baptist Church, 99 Church St., Lowell, MA 01852.
