James Breen Obituary
Lowell, MA native; 77
Born in Lowell, MA on Sept. 30, 1936 to the late Maude and Aloysius Breen. Jim died on August 26th, 2014, at home in San Marcos, CA, after a 13 year battle with cancer.
He was a graduate of Keith Academy, class of 1954 and Northeastern, class of 1959.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Joan (Regan) Breen; his four children and spouses, Carol Ann (Robert); Stephen (Julie); Michael (Julie); and Kevin (Lynn); and his 8 grandchildren.
Also surviving is his brother, Philip and Kathy Breen of Lowell, MA; his three nephews, Philip, Joseph and John Breen; and his sister-in-law, Patricia (Regan) Howe of Lowell, MA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to: Green Cancer Center for Cancer Research, Scripps Health Foundation, In Memory of James Breen, P.O. Box 2669, La Jolla, CA 92038-2669.

Dearest Mary Jo and the Breen family, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He is and was a wonderful friend, a terrific story teller and the greatest Red Sox fan. For I know tonight, Jim and Father Henry will view game seven of the World Series from the VIP seats. God Bless you Mary Jo and the entire Breen family. Love, Chris Balteff
