Lorrey family,

Sorry to hear about the passing of Jimbo. Sitting
here thinking about some great and wild times
with Jimbo. Getting tossed out of the Boston
garden and the Whipple cafe the same night
must be some kind of record. RIP

Can't ever forget watching Jimbo pitch at Chambers field way back when. Can still hear the ball hit the catchers glove. Boy could he throw a baseball!

The first time I met Jimbo was when I was 10 years old representing Shedd Park in the Little League City Tournament. He had a Cannon for an arm and always kept batters on edge. I went down swinging many times. We continued our battles through Babe Ruth and High School.... facing each other many times. He was an All-Star Pitcher at every level. He threw so hard that you could hear the ball whizzing into the catcher's mitt. Although we both wanted to win badly, we became friends from the first time we met. Jimbo was an awesome person.....his friends became my friends. Sincere condolences to all Family Members and to his many friends. Our City has lost a very special person....
