Happy Birthday, Jerome!
Ron Berry
July 14, 2015
I was looking for an old friend who I meet in the early 70s How sad I am to find that I could not talk to him. We would travel down to his moms house and have a dance party in the basement. He would show us the new moves. I meet him by his friend Rick Talbert.I only wanted to here his voice. Not type this sad note. How time swallows us up and when were gone it is over. I loved his smile and laugh and he was a good dance instructor. I dont know even if he ever Married??? But I remember him in love and when he was hart broken. Life just mixes it up different for us all Best wishes to all the family. If you remember me contact me love to here from You. Jerome Alexander had a love in his hart that all men would not grow old and die. We would be the Marvelous Creature that Jehovah God intended for us all... I hope to see that day for all mankind And to see Jerome again. Sad Sad Sad!!! Love to all nice to see how many people he touched...

Missing you terribly!!! Gianna just realized that you are no longer with us. She found a photo of you and came running to me with it, and she angrily told me that her sister had said that you had died. She demanded to know if I knew about this... I told her yes and that I was very sad and miss you a lot; she started to cry and said "I can't believe Uncle Jerry is gone this is so sad." I guess she was to young to realize what was going on at the time, but not young enough to realize how great of a man you were. I love you Uncle Jerry, life is not the same without you.

Jerome, you and your mom, were the 1st people from the East Coast to meet my granddaughter, Sigrid in 1990. On that barge in San Fransisco Bat, just days after she was born. And I know you will be with her on Sunday, when she graduates from Yale with a 4.0. We will all be looking to the sky to say Hi!

It's hard to imagine the world without Jerome's gentle spirit and smile. I remember telling my friend, John LaChapelle that "everyone should have a Jerome in their life." Always a gentleman, Jerome was there when you needed a friend or a helping hand.
We miss you, Jerome and will always remember your kindness.

Jerome and I have been long time friends for 35 years. We started in the display world together in 1976 and remained good friends after we left Jordon Marsh. Not many people know that Jerome was a very talented DJ and performed at many family wedding, anniversary parties and large functions for us. He would have everyone of all ages on the dance floor. Every event he played we would have to hire him for an additional hour because no one ever wanted him to stop playing. Jerome had so many talents, and we would talk every other month or so just to " touch base". I will miss our phone conversations. what a wonderful man.
" Jerome rest in peace my good friend, I will miss you, and thank you for being such a warm loving individual"

We had the great pleasure to work with Jerome years ago. His great sense of humor still permeates our workplace. "Remember what Jerome used to say when that happened?" He will be greatly missed by his friends in Amherst, MA.

Our deepest condolences to Jerome's family from everyone at Harborview Condominium. His gentle nature, kind words and that smile of his is greatly missed. We also miss his artistic talents as Jerome was our "in house" holiday decorator whose displays were one in a million! Jerome had his real estate license with our office and we also spent time reminiscing about our design experience - his in display and mine in clothing. It is a pleasure and an honor to have known such a wonderful person. We miss you . . .

Wanted to call you today to say I love you, but your old number is no longer in
service. I tried the operator she said 'sorry I have no number for you'. I tried to go
to your house, but you don't live there anymore. The post office has no forwarding
address. I guess heaven is just to far away. I love you,I miss you. You are in my
heart always and forever. Copy and paste in remembrance of loved ones gone but
not forgotten. Merry Christmas to all those in heaven! It's not the same without you

We met Jerome many years ago, when John LaChapelle brought him to an event at our house. He became a regular fixture at all of our events: Christmas parties, St. Patrick's Parades, and most recently at my sister and my joint birthday party in October. We LOVED him from day one, he was a sweet man, and always had a twinkle in his eye! There will be a huge hole in our holiday events.....

i met jerome, on february 18, 1988. and from that day a strong friendship, relationship and support system developed during the past 23 years, jerome became vested in holyoke, my family...my parents, my children and grandchildren. he vbecame noted in holyoke, for his crisp outfits, dark glasses and shiny convertibles. Fate maybe...knowing my love for the ocean...Jerome stopped in Holyoke, after leaving Lowell n Mothers Day. He picked me up and brought me to his beachfront. Condo, where I stayed until mid October. To the family of Jerome Alexander, I am very sorry for your loss. Jerome was a dear friend and I'm honored to have known him for over the past 10 years. We met at a housing conference and became not only colleagues but also friends. He always had a smile and never had a cross word to say about anyone. He would lift your spirits when you down and always had family stories to share. He was a true original and will be missed. Our meetings and lives will not be the same without him. Rest in peace dear friend. Carol Cehelnik, Manchester, CT

I met Jerry 8 years ago when he drove the limo for my daughter's wedding, a chance meeting of someone who continued to light up my life, we laughed all the way to the wedding..from then on I would run into Jerry and his sweet Mom while out shopping. Did he ever not have a smile on his precious face? NEVER! He would always tell me a funny story and ask about my daughter. What a wonderful friend he turned out to be. Last time I saw Jerry was shortly after Labor Day..he was in line at a checkout and my friend said..."Who the heck shops in a Tux?" I looked up and saw the back of the gentleman about 5 people in front of me...I said I think I know who it is...It's Jerry...I went up to him and said "Jerry, you working?" and we both laughed, I gave him a big hug and kiss and told him I was so happy to see him! I am blessed to have had that moment. He was so devoted to his Mom..God bless her for having such a wonderful son.My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. I going to miss you Buddy, rest in peace.
