Joan Dastou Obituary

Joan B. Dastou of Easley, SC; 84 Easley, SC Joan Barnard Moore Dastou, 84, died Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Palmetto Health Hospital in Easley, SC after a short illness. Born in Millersburg, IN, the daughter of the late Angelo and Lavita Barnard, Mrs. Dastou was a homemaker, spending the majority of her married life in North Litchfield Beach, SC. Mrs. Dastou is survived by her husband, R. George Dastou of Easley, SC; a son, Barry Moore of Eugene, OR; a grandson, Butch Moore of Anchorage, AL; and two step-sons, Bob and Linda Dastou of Easley, SC and Bill and Joyce Dastou of Lowell; and several step-grandchildren. DASTOU In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Mrs. Dastou's name to: Tara Hall Home for Boys, PO Box 955, Georgetown, SC 29442. Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home, Powdersville Rd, Easley, SC, which is assisting the family.
