DRACUT, MA - John (Jack) Anthony Carbone, 75, of Dracut, MA, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Northwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Doris D. (Fraser) Carbone.
John was born in Winchester, MA, on March 15, 1943, a son of the late Mary E. (O'Donnell) Carbone and Vito J. Carbone.
John graduated from Wakefield High School and received an Associate Degree in Business from Fisher College. John enlisted in the U.S. Navy in August, 1964 and served as an electronic technician until his discharge in August, 1968. John worked as a manufacturing engineer at Raytheon Missile Guidance Systems in Andover for 12 years, retiring in 1992.
John is survived by his two children, Michelle Sackett and her husband, David of Dracut, James M. Carbone and his wife Andrea of Dracut, his sister, Barbara Izzett of Methuen, his two brothers, David Carbone of Woburn, Robert Carbone and his wife, Janice, of Saugus, and three grandchildren, Andrew, Kathryn, and Lauren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At John's request, no services will be held. Donations in John's memory may be made to The Community Family, 236 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854. OR Hospice Services of Massachusetts, 2527 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, MA 02571. Funeral arrangements provided by DRACUT FUNERAL HOME.
