Judith Debreceni Obituary
of Ashby, formerly of Billerica; 79
ASHBY -- Judith W. (Randall) Debreceni, 79, of Ashby, formerly of Billerica, passed away Monday, October 23, in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Judith was born in Cortland, NY on October 13, 1938, a daughter of the late Roland and Dortha (Whiting) Randall. She graduated in 1960 from Syracuse University with a Degree in Nursing. After graduation, along with her two best friends Mindy and Helen, Judith moved to Boston, MA. Shortly after her move, she met her beloved husband Imre "Jimmy" Debreceni, who predeceased her in 2011.
For over 30 years Judith worked as a Registered Nurse at Lowell General Hospital, until her retirement. Judith loved crafts and craft fairs, especially knitting. She enjoyed music, playing her French horn, and singing. She was a member of her church choir as well as a member of the Senior Center's choir in Townsend, where she also played Bingo. Yard sales, antiquing, and shopping, were some of her favorite pastimes. Judith loved the fall and all its beautiful foliage and scenery. Judith was an avid Boston Sports fan, her favorite being the Red Sox. She loved children, especially her grandchildren. She always loved to attend her grandchildren's events, whether it be sporting or dancing, she supported them.
Judith leaves her children, Peter Debreceni and companion Laura Farrell of Lakeville, Paul Debreceni and wife Karen of Dunstable, Terese Debreceni of Ashby, and Kathleen Nadeau and husband David of Ashby; grandchildren, Courtney Hewitt, Amanda Conley, Kristen Debreceni, Alex Debreceni, Jamie Debreceni and Josh Farrell great-grandchildren, Solomon Conley, Riley Hewitt, and Delilah Conley; siblings, Karen Lieber and husband Bob of FL and David Randall and wife Sharon of TX; nieces and nephews, Suzy, Cheryl, Joey, DeeDee, Matt, and Mike.
DEBRECENI -- The funeral will be held in Crossroads Community Church, 839 Ashby State Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420 at 10:00am on Friday, October 27, 2017..

Judy was a wonderful sweet lady who I enjoyed sitting next to for the Hope Community Chorus Rehearsals and Concerts. She had a great attitude and enjoyed singing. She will be missed by all of us and we are so sorry for her family and friends loss.

Many years ago I worked at Lowell General Hospital with Judy. She was always kind and gentle with her patients. A real "old school bedside nurse". I am sorry for your loss
