Kathy was my first supervisor at Lipton after Graduate School. She was an inspiration to me as a beginning social worker. I spent many hours of supervision with Kathy learning the intricacies of being a great social worker and the importance of compassion. I will never ever forget one piece of advice she gave me which I remember everyday I practice - the foundation of social work is in the relationships we form with our clients. It was through the relationship I formed with her that she will live on in my work forever. I am so sorry for your loss, she was truly a remarkable woman and I am lucky to have known her.
