Leon Gagne Obituary
Mr. Leon J. Gagne, 71, of Lowell passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell. The son of the late Leo and Rita (Pare) Gagne he was born in Methuen and had been an area resident all his life. Mr. Gagne was a local metal worker. As a young man he was a Golden Gloves boxer, enjoyed working on cars, and maintaining his yard and garden, most of all he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Gagne was pre-deceased by his son Scott Gagne and is survived by his daughter Wendy McParland and her significant other Spyros Papadopoulos of Lowell, one son: Timothy Gagne and his wife Melissa of Billerica, two sisters: Theresa Darge of Salem, NH, Joanne Uliano of Methuen, one Brother Leo Gagne of Mississippi, there are three grandchildren: Julia Gagne, Robin McParland, Kyle Perry-Gagne, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 9: 00 am to 11:00 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. A funeral service will be held on Friday at the Racicot Funeral Home at 11:00 am, burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Methuen.
